NewsJuice has just posted a Report on the demo scene event @ project space vienna, which was part of the MMM-festival. It looks like the event was a success.

fm4, an Austrian radio station is featuring another report on the demoscene on their site. The article also links to the related presentations at the MMM-festival in Vienna.

Here's a sample chapter about the history of the scene from freax.hu, which is a book attempting to summarize the history of the demoscene. Since the scene really became big on the commodore 64, this chapter focusses on the history of the scene on that machine.

This site will be back online shortly again. I just figured that BlogWare was actually the appropiate approach to bring this baby online (finally), so here we go. How convenient that I work at Tucows and hence have access to our latest toys, hehe ;-)

As a start, I have started collecting information about the History of the demoscene, Reports on the demoscene and Outreach Reports.
